Venture Forward with President Eisgruber
Princeton University invites you to a gathering with President Christopher L. Eisgruber ’83 on Tuesday, January 7th at the Four Seasons Hotel. A Welcome Reception will begin at 6pm, followed by a conversation with President Eisgruber at 7pm, led by Gabe Debenedetti ‘12, National Correspondent, New York Magazine. At 8pm, there will be a Closing Reception. This is a free event, and pre-registration is required for you and a guest. Register to attend by Monday, December 30. Orange and black attire welcome! This gathering replaces the Alumni Interview Kick-off originally scheduled for January 13th! PWN Holiday Cookie Exchange
Join us for the 4th Annual Princeton Women's Network of Austin Holiday Cookie Swap. Bring 2 dozen of your favorite holiday cookies and a Tupperware to bring home what others have made. Tiger Volunteer with Coats for Kids
Tigers! Please join us at our third year volunteering with Austin's Coats for Kids. This annual event brings together donors and volunteers to gift new coats to children at schools and community organizations throughout our area. During our Tiger shift, we will get requests from recipients, including sizes and preferences, and "shop" the coats to find the perfect one. Tiger Talk: Author Talk with Hyeseung Song '01
Please join the Princeton Club of Austin as we host Hyeseung Song '01, author of Docile: Memoirs of a not-so-perfect Asian Girl in advance of her session at the Texas Book Festival. The PCA event is co-sponsored by A4P and PWN. No rsvp necessary and friends, family, and neighbors are welcome.
Song’s book has received rave reviews and is described as "A searing coming-of-age memoir for fans of Crying in H Mart, Minor Feelings, and the film Minari." Docile follows the daughter of ambitious Asian American immigrants and her search for self-worth.
ASC Interviewer Kickoff
The PCA’s Alumni Schools Committee coordinates all local interviews for early action and regular decision applicants. Please join us for a kick-off meeting to learn about the process and share helpful interviewing tips. Both undergraduate & graduate alumni are welcome to interview candidates. Princetoniana Museum Virtual Tour
Leading up to Princeton’s Birthday, the Princeton Club of Northern California and the Princetoniana Team will be hosting a zoom virtual tour of the Princetoniana Museum. What is the Princetoniana Museum? The Museum offers virtual exhibitions of Princeton artifacts and stories about alumni and others from all corners of the Princeton University Community. It includes exhibits on Princeton Collectibles, Notable Princetonians, the history of Princeton Athletics, Reunions and many more stories, traditions and artifacts. Please register here.

PCA x Austin FC Soccer Game Night and Brewery
Join your fellow Tigers to cheer on Los Verdes on September 28 @ 7:30pm as they take on Salt Lake. We'll meet at Hopsquad Brewing Co. near Q2 Stadium before the game at 6pm. We have a limited quantity of tickets reserved in a block, so make sure to confirm your spot early! Please note that Recent Alumni (2014-2024 graduation years) will be prioritized for the block seating but all alumni and guests are welcome to attend the brewery meetup and game. Latin American Art Tour
Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a free lunch time art tour with your fellow Tigers. The Blanton Museum has free admission on Tuesdays and is offering a public guided tour of the Latin American art collection on September 17th. Attendance is capped at 25 people and is first come, first serve. The tour begins at 12:30pm, but make sure to arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour and check-in with the Visitor Services Desk to secure your spot. Paid parking is available in the Brazos Garage on Brazos & MLK. Marisa Goldenberg ‘98 will be there at noon and will be wearing something orange or Tiger themed!
Craft Day
Join PCA and PWN at Austin Creative Reuse to finish your orange and black project, start one, or simply to enjoy drinks and refreshments with your fellow Tigers. We will have people who can help you with knitting, crochet, cross-stitch, and Cricut crafting. If you’d like to make a PWN hat, there will be an additional $15 fee for the hat. All other crafting materials will be free. RSVP here.
New & Current Student Summer Social
New & current students are invited to a summer social before school starts. Enjoy some pizza. refreshments & beverages while you meet new Tiger friends. As this is a student only event, the RSVP link will be sent privately via email.
Turkey Creek Trail Hike
Enjoy a hike on this fun trail in Emma Long Metropolitan Park. Optional tacos at Ski Shores afterwards! Turkey Creek Trail is 2.5 miles long and has multiple creek crossing (usually you can get across easily with the stepping stones, but if there have been recent heavy rains, bring shoes/boots you don’t mind getting wet). Dogs are allowed off-leash on this trail, so you must be comfortable with dogs if you plan to attend. Meet at the big trail map sign by the parking lot.
Note: you need to go a little bit past the Google Map location, and then you’ll see a large parking lot on the right. The trailhead is before the main Emma Long park entrance, so there aren’t any park entry fees for this trail!
Virtual Trivia Night
Join up with Princeton alumni for a nationwide trivia night! Take part in a fun-filled hour of Princeton-themed trivia competition. Questions will be specially curated by Josh Libresco '76 of the Princetoniana Committee, who has a passion for sharing Old Nassau’s history and traditions. Depending on participation, we plan to split teams by region, so be ready to represent your regional alumni group! Please RSVP here by Friday, August 2nd.

NEW DATE! Beat the heat with your fellow Tigers! Thank you to David Stuart ‘89 and his wife Carolyn Porter Stuart for hosting this event. Funny Stuff: How Cartoonists Make Great Cartoons
Join the Princeton Club of Northern California in this virtual event featuring Phil Witte ’79, cartoonist and co-author of “Funny Stuff: How Great Cartoonists Make Great Cartoons.” Phil will discuss his unusual path to becoming a professional gag cartoonist, as well as humor writing, the creative process, the elements of a great cartoon, and how his work with Bob Mankoff, the former cartoon editor at the New Yorker, led to Phil’s latest book, "Funny Stuff." Our author event will feature examples of Phil's cartoons followed by a live Q&A session. RSVP here.
