The Princeton Club of Ausin has organized a time for us to volunteer in the city-wide effort to make sure every kid in Central Texas has a warm winter coat - Coats for Kids. To register, click here and then select the December 7th, 6-9pm shift to volunteer with your fellow Tigers.

Each year, more than 2,000 community volunteers participate in the acquisition, sorting, and distribution of coats. It is due to the valued support of local groups, businesses, schools, and individuals that Coats for Kids continues to thrive and serve the children and families of Central Texas each winter.

During the shift, we will use children's "wish list" (size and colors) to find a coat for them among the Coat for Kids racks. We then label the coat and pack it to be sent to the pick up location.

Join us for our always-popular annual holiday party! All ages are welcome. You can look forward to festive food and drink as well as face painting and other activities to entertain the kids. Invitations have been emailed directly to our local alumni & parent community. If you didn’t receive it, please contact us directly for the RSVP link and address.

Join us for a scenic adventure at River Place Nature Trail! The 6-mile out-and-back trail offers stunning views, lush greenery, and a rewarding outdoor experience. Please be prepared for a bit of a workout, as the trail includes stairs and elevation changes.

We will meet at the Boardwalk Kiosk/Trailhead at 8820 Big View Dr, Austin, TX 78730. There's ample street parking available, so no need to stress about finding a spot. Note that during weekend peak hours, there may be a $10/hiker fee (credit cards only). It's not always enforced, but it's good to be prepared. Remember to bring water and wear comfortable hiking shoes for a comfortable journey.

Join us for a guided tasting of wines from Marimar Estate, led by Cristina Torres ‘10. Princeton alumni from Austin, Chicago, Dallas, New York City, and St. Louis are coming together for this special event. Join us for a hike to Twin Falls and Sculpture Falls via Barton Creek Greenbelt trail! This is a 3.2-mile out-and-back trail that will take about 1 hour to complete. Depending on interest, we could go further and complete the Three Falls Hike (7 miles/2 hours). Meet at the trailhead at 9am - we will wait up to 10 mins for anyone running late. The closest parking is at Sculpture Falls Parking.

Princeton is holding alumni focus group dinners in major cities across the country in preparation for the LGBTQIA+ Alumni Conference in 2024. Kick off the Orange & Black day festivities with some exercise and join fellow alumni for a leisurely to moderately paced (11-13 mph average) no-drop bike ride! Meet at 8:45am and the ride will depart at 9:00am. If there’s interest, the group can grab coffee and snacks after the ride together. Please see additional details and register here. Enjoy the beautiful fall weather with a hike at St. Edwards Park. Meet at the main trailhead next to the parking lot. All levels are welcome. The park is dog-friendly. Wear comfortable walking shoes and make sure to bring water. Thank you to Alaka Halder ‘15 for hosting this event - she’ll be wearing orange and will wait up to 10 minutes before starting the hike.
